A hilariously fun birthday party get-away!!!!

Last friday was my friend Megan's eighteenth birthday! Her mother rented an awesome cabin that we all got to stay in for the night...so much fun!! Here are some pics...

After we arrived at the cabin, we all decided to go on a "walk" on the "trail". But then we got a little side-tracked with this beautiful mini canyon! So instead, we went on a little hike.

We came back after a long journey (and almost being attacked by a scary coyoty with purple foam -long story) and we found a table full of delicious fajitas that Mrs. Truitt made for us! Oh, it was so good. Then present time....*Present time, present time, open the present and see what's inside*! :)

Now, my mom had this awesome idea that we get fake hair for the partygirls and all sorts of stuff for Megs! Hehe!

Then we popped out the.....

Wine!!! Ok, so just kidding. It was delicious sparkling cherry juice!!!

The next morning we went shopping!

And ate at Starbucks!!!

Haha! Look at the guy. He looks so shocked. "What is wrong with these girls?"

We had an absolute blast! I cannot believe Megan is eighteen. *Sighs* I've known her since she was five. Wow. Happy Birthday Megan, my adult friend!!

(Megs)Coyote with the purple foam is the coyote Hannah and I saw. I don't remember exactly why it ended up being purple foam, but I think we were joking around afterwards or something...don't remember...; January 20, 2009 at 12:16 PM

Prayer Requests

~For Megan who is having surgery for her scoliosos tomorrow morning (August 4th). Please pray that God would give the doctor's wisdom, Megs and her parents strength, and for her quick healing.

~ For the Vogals and their new sweet daughter with down syndrom - that God would bless them and provide the things they need for her.

~For my friend Kevin who is suffering from severe back pains and will most likely be having surgery in the next few months. Please pray that God would give the doctor's wisdom, Kevin strength, and for his quick healing.

~For my uncle Fred who has 11 herniated disks on his neck and back and is barely able to move.

~For my 11-year-old cousin, Michael, who has been diagnosed with a rare cancer that only five children in the USA has. Please pray for his healing and strength, and for the strength of his mother and sisters that they might lean on Christ. The Chemo is taking a huge toll on him so please pray that he'll remain strong. :(

~The unbelieving family members in both my father's and mother's side.

~For my anonymous unbelieving friend

~For the leaders of this country - that they will have the brains to realize they are screwing up this country and a billion other stuff and that God would work in their hearts and guide them.

~For all the many persecuted Christians in the communist countries of this world who are struggling to keep the Word of God alive, that many people will be reached, that they'll remain strong, and they'll be provided with materials.

~For all my awesome brother's and sister's-in-Christ - that God will continue to use all of us for His Will, be on fire for Him, be willing to serve Him in any situation, and that we will have the strength to not be moved.
